MOMENT OF REFLECTION:
This world is too noisy, that it does distracts us a lot of times from asking ourselves the following fundamental questions: What is the very source of my existence? What is the purpose of life? Why was I brought forth into existence? What is the very essence of my beingness? Where am I going after my death?ย
These are substantial questions that in the night of every day before we sleep,ย we ought to sit down quickly in order to personally ask ourselves sincerely.
Unless we try to do that often, the noisy distractions of this world will surely sink us down to the grave as losers, and not as victors. Learn to collect yourself every day in the night before you sleep, in order to ask yourself these questions: Was I kind to someone today by my actions, words, smiles and even inactions? Was I forgiving today? Was I humble today? Was I hospitable today? Was I honest, sincere and truthful today? Was I sorry and remorseful when I offended someone today? Was I prayerful today? Was I hard working today? Did I project a "light and salt" kind of life style by actions and inactions with my relationship with others today?
Every day before we retire to bed, we need to sit down quickly and to sincerely ask ourselves the above fundamental questions. And we in turn having asked ourselves the above fundamental questions, we need to answer them sincerely also. Do this in the next 90 days, and wait patiently to see the changes you will experience with your relationship with God, with others and with yourself. Shalom! ~Medugu Ujulu Ibrahim.
