She was an Argentinian nun from the Daughters of Our Lady of the Garden. Her original name was Maria Angelica Perez. She was assigned to a tuberculosis hospital where she worked closely with sick children. When her own health began to suffer, she was assigned to a hospital in Chile where she was a source of joy and comfort of many patients. That is why she was called “Hermana Dulzura” or “Sister Sweetness.”
